Responsibilities
- Monitor the status of shipments in transit, proactively coordinate with internal and external teams to resolve any delivery issues promptly
- Implement packaging improvement and weight reduction projects, aiming for future packaging automation
- Liaise with the finance department and 3PL vendors to handle billings
- Collaborate on quotation operations, provide logistics cost-related estimates, ensure cost reasonableness
- Maintain and logistics contracts with 3PL vendors, negotiate contract terms and conditions
- Implement company logistics strategy/guideline into local operations, develop SOP and set up KPls to deliver cost effectiveness, operation efficiency, and packing efficiency
- Identify and escalate logistics issues and ensure improvement actions are sustained
- Design and implement strategies to efficiently manage logistics based on the company’s future needs
- Manage cross-functional ad-hoc projects (if any) with comprehensive communication to drive changes
 
Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience in logistics, preferably in international trading/cross-border e-commerce/healthcare related industry
- Knowledge of international logistics (UPS, FedEx, etc.) and customs clearance (e.g. FDA) preferred
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken; ability to communicate in Cantonese is a plus
- Excellent business acumen coupled with analytical and logical thinking, capability for data and root cause analysis to perform appropriate actions
- Strong problem-solving skills, adept at establishing and optimizing workflows
- Proactive, detail-oriented, excellent communication skills, and good team player with high self-management ability
- Organized, highly responsible; able to adapt to work pressure and overtime arrangements
